Kintsugi: Embodied Story Groups offer a distinct take on group experiences, integrating the insights of interpersonal neurobiology with a process group to enrich personal growth. We strive to guide individuals toward connection, narrative exploration, and healing through interpersonal engagement. 

Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese art form where broken pottery is repaired using gold lacquer, making the flaws and breaks an integral part of the item's history and beauty. Similarly, we believe that our scars and imperfections contribute to our uniqueness and beauty. 

Our sessions are tailored for adults (both men and women) of all backgrounds. We provide single-gendered groups, mixed groups, and groups that focus on specific groups such as counselors and pastors as well as specific topics such as grief, addiction, betrayal trauma, etc. If there is a specific area you are interested in, please let us know through our application form.

Absolutely! We host both online and in-person sessions to cater to your comfort and preferences.

Duration differs with each group. For instance, our Women's and Men’s groups are spread across 12 weeks, whereas the Virtual Coed group is condensed into 4 weeks. The actual duration is based on our waitlist of applicants and their interests. 

As a Licenced Professional Counselor or Licenced Social Worker, it is sometimes hard to find a place for you to just be you. Based on this, we have created a dedicated group exclusively for counselors. Please reach out to learn more. 

We deeply value participant privacy and actively foster an environment where stories can be shared without reservation. While we diligently uphold and advocate for confidentiality, it's important to note that we cannot guarantee the actions of individual participants. Groups typically cost $100 per session but may vary depending on the group. If the cost is a barrier for you, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We want to ensure that these groups are accessible for everyone and have financial assistance available for those in need. 

We provide different payment options depending on what works best for you. You can pay for the groups up-front through automatic payment weekly.
